Hari Raya Haji, my parents planning to visit their parents; well seems to me I had a second chance. Why? I had not visit them since Hari Raya Aidilfitri, I heard my aunties missed me so. After all unattended occasions; I will be dead if they knew I am not going out to see them haha!

I fail to attend my cousin engaged day this past month, you are wondering who was this cousin I am talking about? Its a "she" and her name is Shahidah, can you believe it; she is 2 years younger then me! Thats 20 years old, so young and yet engaged. So young and beautiful hmm... she got engage with a Bangladesh men name Karim. Its a long story on why she chose to be engaged so young with an older man, I do not understand why even when explained but never mind. The only story i can confirm is that she will be married in a few months... thats weired.

Shes 85 years of age and still so energetic and sporting. Once I wonder on how she get her erm funny name ("Momo Latiff"); getting my fathers attention asking him why was it so, here goes...
She was a famous Malay actress, once when young she was called up by the king of Thailand in the past before Thailand had their proper democracy and politics, she never came up with the kings name or erm I did not ask haha. She was called to be a part of a stage theater play, I was told that she played the role as ghost or a vampire up on stage hmm... Her acting was so good as the king named her after a ghost, in Thai language "Momo" means ghost. From there onwards her name was replaced by a king, yet when the king knows of her marrage to "Abdul Latiff bin Aspet"; the king added her husbands name after "Momo" ("Momo Latiff").
Most likely most Singaporean and Malaysian Malays knew about her acting in films, the famous ones with P.Ramlee. The two black and white photos was from "Pendekar Bujang Lapok", I never get bored watching the film again... The one grandmother I am talking about was the one in stripe kebaya she is so cute haha!
[SICK GRAND MOM BUT HAPPY]
She gone to Umrah last two month ago with her only daughter "Kamaliah" the first photo on the left, yet after coming back to Singapore she fell sick and was sent to the general hospital. She complain that she had vomited water continually, I could only guess she drank lots of plain water while not eating much. While on the hospital bed; many of her children came to visit, the only thing I could remember was she starts talking so much its seems like she was overjoyed on something. On hearing her conversation with one of her son; I over heard she said that she could not wait to leave the hospital and after all the sickness had been recovered she want to travel to Pahang Malaysia to see her old friends. It was her old acting friends, there was this occasion which all the grand actor and actress was called to attend for a remembrance ceremony.
My Mom said to her that all of her children was worried about her health yet she was thinking of traveling to Pahang. I could not blame my grand mother ever since she had a husband in the past; she never had a chance to leave home... I mean after she was done acting. All she could do was taking care of my grand father "Abdul Latiff bin Aspet". After my Grand dad was gone early this year; she my grand mum felt lonely and so the only one she could depend on was her only daughter "kamaliah". I guess my grand mum wish to see the world a bit when she still could before her life soon be ending.
