New Computer Upgrades.

Upgrading My Current Computer

CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2.4AGhz 1MB L2- Cache FSB 533 Socket 478
Mainboard:Gigabyte P4 Titan series GA-81845PE Pro, (Northwood, Prescott) with HT Technology
Chipset: 865P
Memory: 1GB DDR 333
Form Factor: Normal ATX

New Upgrade Stats -

CPU: Intel Pentium 4 Processor 630, LGA775 Pkg, 3.0Ghz 2MB L2-Cache, 800Mhz FSB
Mainboard: MSI V class PM8M3-V, P4 Prescott LGA775 with HT Technology
Chipset: VIA P4M800CE + VT8237R Plus
Memory: 512MB DDR 400
Form Factor: Micro-ATX


Well I guess its enough for me to run down the technical stuff, so let me show you the picture instead? I just brought it on Wednesday at Sim Lim Square, If anyone of you had no clue to the place; it is at bugis.

The new main board to support the new LGA775 cpu, With its small form factor (Micro-ATX) it can be fitted to a minibare bone chassis.

A P4 3.0Ghz with HT (64bit) to support the LGA755 MSI V class PM8M3-V mainboard.

I just bought a 256MB DDR 400 from Kingston worth $45 as I already had another 256MB DDR 400 from GEIL at home (256 x 2 DDR 400 = 512MB).

Samsung DVD-+R/RW Plus CD-R/RW Burner
Did I just Bought a new combo burner?...Yah haha its complete set of burning formats exceeds its limitation and amazingly cheaper than any other burner around, I bought it for just $68.

titanium DVD -R/+R by imation 8x recording speed 25 pcs a set is $15, but if buying 2 sets at an offer price of $27.

I'm still in doubt if this DVD-RW single pack a promotional product too, but I majorly agree that a rewritable DVD is quite expansive. I bought 2 pcs worth $3.50 each.

It seems that I came by a dual/double-sided DVD-RW...It is absolutely expansive, $9.00 a pcs

PRICE TAG...Hmm...

Paid by cash..no nets, It cost me $484 for an upgrade Xp, bought the electronic stuff at fuwell Technology Pte Ltd.

CONCLUSION

Upgrading the new system is on going, so I will not be updating this blog for some time. Sorry for late postage update on Wency's portait, but as soon it is done for the upgrades and digi paintworks is done; I will update the blog soon.
