Video Making Project

23.01.06 Is the day my team starts filming on our video making project. Nine people in total creating the first whole production around 5 hours which is still raw pieces of clips right now that is still need to be edited and the whole review is still ongoing with the rest of the research team.

My class which is then divided into two groups that is doing one video making each, one is doing "The Zoo" and the other "The Mummy Returns". Our production took place in Suszu's apartment... Quite spacious in a sense that its possible to push the whole production team in one bedroom ;P.

This is after our drawing class that was very cool and fun by me, so this (above) is Edison the great freehand drawing man I've ever seen. We were preparing our production stuff before leaving the school.

All of my group gather after drawing class on Monday 23rd to create our first shoot at Suszu's apartment. As you can see most all of my team mates was quite tired of the present day which we had a lot of other project to be done within and until a certain dead line.

Its a long journey from City Hall Mrt interchange to Boon Lay, just to reach Suszu's place takes time...Well its better to take a bit of rest before we start.

That's me in the middle...I feel so gay because of "Ryan" beside me...CRAP! He is always an odd fellow, I still don't understand Korean culture much hmm... But still his an alright kind of guy but...abit stubborn at times haha.

Well we reached Suszu's place after they went for lunch about an hour, I went to Hazwan's house to fetch some equiptments which took us a while to return back to Suszu's apartment. Back in the preparation of actors, rehearsals and equiptment took us a while to setup.


Brandy was our main character...Man was she funny when she is acting haha. While fixing all the equiptment like the reflectors, lighting testers and so on; lets take a peak on to the make up artist "Suszu Yeung Mei Mei" (her full name), making up Ryan in the bedroom.

By the looks of this guy above... Ryan the Korean guy likes to be pampered by girls haha that's what I know. Suszu is a tough gurl, likes to hit (really hit like WHACK) guys..Ouch..but one thing I do agree; she is sweet in personality and very hardworking. Ok... Overshot my speech a little haha, lets continue...

Suszu was taking a break after dealing with Ryan, she took the karaoke microphone and started to "sing" OH NOOOO!! Its SUKS haha...

Brandy was looking for a pair of perfect matched earring, to me without earring is natural on video. The crew was fumbled by waiting even hazwan is a little pissed off and started to go a little crazy. While waiting for the director that is Edison, plans the actual footage to the lighting man and me which were the camera man and getting ready for the first scene.

At the first scene it went well but not all of the team members were sure what is going on and what to do. Touch up here and there to prevent from further takes mistakes, we are all working hard.. Yeung Mei Mei were trying to fix brandy's hair.

Well all I can say now is that Brandy looks a lot like an Auntie haha...Great job Suszu! When almost every one is ready we then took a small group pic. The sun was great and the atmostphere is cold by chance because of the aircon in Suszu's room haha if there's any chance we all drop in and enjoy the cold air whenever we felt hot. In the middle of the shooting Suszu ask some of us to play Jenga the stack ups, well what ever; just a little fun will not hurt haha..

While playing Jenga... Ok I think we played it a little long, when we got out of Suszu's room...We saw Ryan sleep on the sofa....

Not only that...He slept on Suszu mother's bed...What a guy... Can't be blamed we were all tired after class but still... What a guy. A day that took us 5 hours and at the end of the shooting is the most hard and complicated shoot to film, well planned as we discussed the modification to suite the environment of the place (Suszu mother's room).

We had to film is Brandy the main character that had to remake up for the tissue paper attack.

The master bed room starts to heat up...(watch your thought)...I meant because of the windows that were closed to prevent from any distracting noise from entering the room, the lights and the most affecting thing that heat the room the most is "us". Because of us crowding the room that makes the room all stuffy and hot.

Riane and Ryan had to change into their so called the mummy suite... The tissue paper that rolls around them. So let us view what happens before the mummy scene.

This is Brandy's worst nightmare "once in a lifetime experience to be an ugly duckling".

finely everything was done in sequence, we all enjoyed the film shoot while it lasted.

"Feast at last!" I was soo hungry after all the shooting, we ate our dinner at a coffee shop near Suszu's house. One thing special or odd thing is "again" about RYAN...

Seller - Here you go sir, your food.

Ryan - .... (give the look of a disgusted face)

Seller - ...??????...

Ryan - I dint ask fur chikaan, Id ask for fisch cutlet!

Seller - But I heard u ask for these?

Ryan- No I dunt wan chikaan, I wan fisch cutlet...

Seller - ...(starts to think of a strategy)...But I give u a discount.

Ryan - Wat?....(stops in amusement)...Ok. (to me he is dumb to let it off)

By the way... Ryan threw a huge chunk of rice of his plate, he said that it was disgusting...WHAT THE HELL HE THINKS FOOD IS!!! Haaaa...I guess I still do not know Korean culture much, what are Korean guys like? I hope they are all not like Ryan...mann.
