The Play of The Picasso

Drawing class today with quite a few work. Well the whole class had to paint at least 5 different painting technique, the 5 are -
  1. Blending painting
  2. Glazing painting
  3. Knife painting
  4. Primal colors painting
  5. Sgrafitto
We had to choose the parts from self image (color printed) and transferred it to our painting techniques. It was a lot of fun when you get used to it, learning how to mix basic colors to complex types takes time and confidence.

Todays School homework for studio practice (painting) :

  • Research on famous painting artist (on how the develope their way of painting technique and design).

@@ The Interview @@

Me:
Alright Hazwan, what is your favorite "thing" of all?

Hazwan: Me? ...My shoe lah babe, I like my shoe; the sole is like my soul.

Me: uh huh ...So I see you just painted a flag on your shoe, please explain why?

Hazwan: This ...is a flag of Japan...err...

Me: Wait, why is it a white spot and black flag and not red spot and white flag?

Hazwan: I lack of the red and white...

Me: Hey, by the looks of it you were trying to hide the dirt off your shoe...Don't tell me you had not wash your shoe for months?

Hazwan: I told you I love my shoe and I never wash it before, when it is wet and smell "really" bad I just turn this babe to the sun.

Me: Oh...That's why you decided to paint a Japanese flag on your shoe, an inspiration out of the sun "and" with the sun whether its wet or dry...mmm

Me: I got an idea, why don't you paint a "BIG" red Chinese dragon on your shoe, you can always scold people by pointing them with your legs with the shoe intact. So together it creates a symbol of anger, scariness, smellyness and a symbol of inspiration of you.

Hazwan: .....What?
